This Week Gave Us A Reminder Of A.A. Allen's Stunning Prophetic Vision Of The Fall & Destruction Of America: God Judges Rebellious Nations And Will Annihilate Us For Our Sins

Allen story of his vision of the fall and destruction of America, ANP's Mary Taylor sent us this story which she wrote detailing Allen's prophetic vision from 1954. This amazingly prophetic vision is also detailed in the only video at the bottom of this story.) 

Sinking sands, tsunamis, nuclear fallout and bacteriological warfare---What does the Statue of Liberty have to do with all this? 

Another question is, what is America’s grand old Lady of Liberty doing stationed in the Gulf of Mexico? Those are questions we’ll all be asking if Pastor A.A. Allen’s prophetic vision of 60-some years ago comes to pass. 

As a tourist enjoying the view from the top of the Empire State Building in 1954, the pastor inserted some dimes in the coin slot of a giant telescope. As he looked through the lens, he was shocked to see unfolding before him a startling vision of the Statue of Liberty—standing not in New York Harbor, but in the Gulf of Mexico! 

And instead of holding her torch, our Lady was being forced to drink a cup of fearful judgments soon to come on this country--judgments of nuclear war and missile attacks, weather catastrophes, fires and deadly plagues. 

“As I looked, suddenly from the sky I saw a giant hand came down, reaching out toward the Statue of Liberty,” Allen reported. “In a moment her gleaming torch was torn from her hand, and in it instead was placed a cup; and I saw protruding from that great cup a giant sword. Never before had I seen such a sharp, glistening, dangerous sword. It seemed to threaten all the world.” 

Allen watched as the mighty hand of God forced Liberty to drink every drop from the cup. As she drank the bitter dregs, he heard words of Scripture: 

"Should you be utterly unpunished? You shall not be unpunished, for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts." (Jeremiah 27:29) 

Allen suddenly realized that the telescope had nothing to do with what he was seeing, but that it was a vision coming directly from God. To prove this to himself, he took his eyes away from the telescope so that he was no longer looking through the lens, but the same scene remained. 

Before him, he saw all the North American continent spread out as a great map upon a table. Earmarked and in the spotlight were some of its most sinful cities: New York, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New Orleans.

Over the years, Allen’s vision has mystified thousands who have read it on prophetic net sites because of the questions it poses: How and why would God punish this nation for its sins? And is there any possible scenario to explain why America’s beloved national icon would ever leave her post? 

Of course, most people take for granted that Lady Liberty, like other wonders of the world, will be around for centuries to come. But Allen’s vision is a reminder that God judges rebellious nations and alerts his prophets to watch and warn: when we see weather catastrophes, plagues, storms and burning cities, history shows that even the most rebellious in a nation will begin to look up. 

And when we see our national icon struck down while standing in foreign waters, we can know that we are being judged!

But although the pastor’s vision of a relocated Statue may have seemed like a far-fetched dream at the time, some students of prophecy are asking, what if the vision came to pass? Is there any feasible scenario that would take America’s historic landmark away from New York Harbor and neighboring Liberty Island and into distant southern seas bordering Texas and Mexico? 

Of course, environmentalist elites have ready a time-worn answer for all eventualities affecting the earth: global warming. They predict that New York City and the harbor island will both be subject to the same fate, with rising sea levels and sinking sands dooming them to suffer the effects of climate change. 

Along the same lines, Time Magazine ran an article in 2014 with the headline: “Climate Change Could Sink Statue of Liberty.” The writer, Barbara Tasch, stated, “Treasured American landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island could succumb to the consequences of climate change, according to a new report.” 

The report, published by the Union of Concerned Scientists, suggests sea levels will increase several feet over the next 50 years. It claims the world's coastal cities, including New York and London, are sinking and could be under water by the end of the century. 

Science Daily jumped on the bandwagon with an article urging prospective sight-seers to make their travel reservations before Manhattan and Liberty Island are both slowly washed out to the sea. 

“If you’ve never seen the Statue of Liberty or been dazzled by the lights of Times Square, now's the time, because America’s most densely populated city has a high risk of damage from rising sea levels and imposing tropical storms,” the Daily’s article observed. 

It reported that sea levels in the area are expected to rise about twice as quickly as sea levels around the world, predicting that New York will be flooded “well before the rest of the United States.”

So take the supposition a step further and grant that whatever fate befalls the city of New York also endangers the Statue. Could it be that New York’s sinking sands would prompt Liberty’s future removal to a safer harbor—say, for instance, to the Gulf of Mexico? 

Another possible scenario for the statue’s relocation has been proposed by Monique Bizet, who recently shared a vivid prophetic vision on Z3News where she saw nuclear bombs falling from the sky over New York City. 

“Time slowed down, so everything was moving in slow motion, and my eyes focused on each building like a camera zooming in to take a close-up,” she said. “I saw building after building start to disintegrate and explode while collapsing on top of the others. The nuclear bombs seemed endless-- so much destruction. 

“Then I saw a huge tsunami wave come over the city and snap the steel-wire suspension on the Brooklyn Bridge, tearing it in pieces. The whole city was demolished. It was total desolation!”

“The Lord, the Lord Almighty who touches the earth and it melts, making the whole land rise like the Nile, then sink like the river of Egypt—the Lord, who builds his lofty palace in the heavens and sets its foundation on the earth, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land—the Lord is his name.” Amos 9:6 

Another prophetic voice that consistently warned of the destruction of New York was that of the late David Wilkerson, who in March, 2009 sent an urgent message to readers of his World Challenge devotional. 

“For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City,” he told them. “It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. 

“There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting—including Times Square, in New York. God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. We are under God’s wrath.” 

At the end of A.A. Allen’s vision, he saw a huge black cloud in the form of a skeleton bending from the waist over America, reaching down toward Chicago and out toward both coasts. Out of its gaping mouth, wisps of white vapor came out and were being blown toward New York. 

“The smoke began to spread until it had covered all the United States,” Allen said. “I knew its one interest was to destroy the multitudes. 

“I saw the vapors sweep on until they reached the Statue of Liberty where she stood staggering drunkenly in the blue waters of the gulf. All at once, the statue began to cough violently like a person about to cough out his lungs. 

“I watched her there in the gulf as she staggered in mortal agony, clutching her lungs and her breast with her hands. Then she fell to her knees. In a moment she made a last desperate effort to rise, and then fell face forward into the waters of the gulf and lay still.” 

In his vision, Pastor Allen heard the screaming of sirens and saw millions of people falling in the streets. Then he heard the voice of God as he spoke again: 

“See, the Lord is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants….the earth dries up and withers. The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. 

“Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt.” Isaiah 24:1-6
