Trump DOJ Urged To Investigate Whether Biden Regime Staffers Exploited His Mental State To Push Far-Left Policies By Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is urging the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate whether former President Joe Bidens staff exploited his mental decline to implement far-left policies, according to a letter obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Bidens executive actions including last-minute clemency grants to violent criminals and sentence commutations for death row inmates are legally void if he did not give his knowing approval, Bailey wrote Tuesday in a letter to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
By now, Bidens mental decline is famous, Bailey wrote. Under the 25th Amendment, his inability to make decisions should have meant a succession of power. Instead, it appears staffers and officers in the Biden administration may have exploited Bidens incapacity so they could issue orders without an accountable President of sound mind approving them.
There are profound reasons to suspect that Bidens staff and political allies exploited his mental decline, which was evident before he dropped out of the 2024 presidential race, Bailey noted.
Special Counsel Robert Hursreport on Bidens handling of classified documents described him as an elderly man with a poor memory.
Biden was not aware he signed a moratorium on energy exports to Europe when Speaker of the House Mike Johnson asked about the decision, Johnson revealed during a January interview with The Free Press.
Aides carefully controlled Bidens schedule and took on some of his responsibilities amid his decline, the Wall Street Journal reported in December.
I thus ask you to launch an investigation, or refer my request to another investigative body, to determine which of Bidens purported orders were knowingly issued by a competent President and which were not, Bailey wrote.
In his final days in office, Biden pardoned his son Hunter Biden. He pardoned several family members and issued preemptive pardons to Dr. Anthony Fauci and Gen. Mark Milley, along with members of the Jan. 6 committee, in the hours before Trumps inauguration.
Bidens list of 2,500 individuals convicted on drug offenses, whom he described as non-violent when commuting their sentences, included two men whose actions led to the death of a police officer and another who murdered an eight-year-old boy and his mother. Biden ignored recommendations made by his own DOJ when he commuted sentences for some of these violent criminals, according to an internal email reported by the WSJ in February.
On his way out, Biden also declared the Equal Rights Amendment was part of the Constitution, despite the National Archives clearly stating otherwise.
Who has been running the country for the last few years? Bailey wrote. I fear that Mr. Biden, while he held the office of President, did so in name only and was a mere puppet for far-left, unelected staffers. The people deserve to know the truth.
